Ruxo’s body was once a tiki idol carved on a volcanic world — a guardian set to watch the coasts while storms battered the people. For centuries he stood still, wings folded, his face staring out at the horizon. He was worshiped, then forgotten, left as driftwood on the shore of time.

But the day came when the people faced a drought so long it cracked the land to dust. Rivers dried, fields failed, and despair grew heavier than the heat. Desperate, they gathered around the old tiki, praying one last time to a god they no longer believed in.

The ground shook. Stone split. With a roar that echoed like mountains breaking, Ruxo awakened. His wings beat once, lifting him into the air. And when he landed, the shockwave split the desert floor — unleashing an underground spring that rushed upward, flooding the plains with life. Crops flourished, rivers filled, and the people wept at the miracle.

But Ruxo did not stay. With a booming laugh, he rose into the skies, leaving the people to thrive on the gift he had given. From that day on, he became a voyager. Wherever he flew, his landings tore open the ground to reveal what was hidden — water, seed, stone, or path. Not destruction, but revelation.

His legend is not of permanence, but of possibility. He comes when the horizon calls, breaks open what is bound, and leaves behind the means for others to flourish. To the people he saves, he is remembered as the thunder that turned despair into abundance.
