Vetra’s voice was born in echoes. She spoke and the sound split in two, one voice drifting high like wind through leaves, the other low like roots humming underground. Where others lived in singular truths, Vetra saw both sides — the shadow and the light, the silence and the song.

She arrived on a world locked in endless confusion. Its people spoke hundreds of tongues, yet none could understand the other. Each tribe lived as if alone, convinced theirs was the only truth. Trade collapsed, trust crumbled, and the planet’s great cities began to fall into ruin.

Vetra did not force them together. She listened. She wandered among the tribes, learning each voice until her own tongue carried them all. Then she began to weave. At first she stood between two leaders, translating words into peace. Then between villages, carrying messages where war might have taken root. And in time, she taught them to hear each other directly — building bridges of sound and thought that had never existed before.

Under her guidance, their divided voices became a chorus. Their cities rose again, not as islands of confusion but as networks of connection, a living testament to her gift of dual sight. She could have ruled them, but she chose instead to keep moving, wandering into the wider cosmos with curiosity unquenched.

And yet, beneath all her triumph, there lingers an ache. In her heart lives the memory of someone lost — a presence she once knew as surely as her own reflection. She searches still, across planets and skies, listening for the echo that will answer her call.
