Orrik’s body was carved by alien hands, etched in runes and hidden beneath the sea for ages untold. There he waited, unmoving, until the tides aligned and the cries of a struggling people reached his stone heart. When the ocean finally released him, he rose from the deep in a roar of waves.

The world he entered was collapsing. The people lived on fractured islands, battered by storms and divided by distance. Their bridges fell, their harvests drowned, and their strength thinned with every passing season. Many believed the sea itself wished to scatter them forever.

Orrik did not speak, but he acted. He pressed his massive hands into the earth, raising land where none had been. He shaped channels through the ocean, linking islands together with stone causeways. Where storms once cut the people apart, Orrik built walls and breakwaters that turned rage into calm tide. Slowly, he stitched the world together, one immovable gesture at a time.

In time, the people found themselves no longer isolated but united — walking paths he had built, trading across waters he had steadied. Their lives were changed not by sudden fire, but by the endurance of a guardian who refused to move until the work was done.

When the seas grew quiet again, Orrik returned beneath the waves. Yet his causeways remained, unbroken by centuries, proof of the strength he left behind. His story is not of swift victories, but of patient transformation — the kind that lasts.
